Lubricating greases for gears, turbines and worms The lubricating principle of rolling and slipping caused by super gears, helical gear, worm gear or bevel gears are different from that of ball or ball bearing. Many designers hope that lubricant can increase the efficiency of gear cases, reduce little noises, change temperatures and prevent corrosion. This is a challenge for lubricant because the extreme pressure antiwear property, viscosity-temperature characteristic and life cycle can hardly meet the demands of modern gears. Moreover, the demands for sealing of gear cases are high as well. Nowadays there is a trend that specially-designed lubricating greases instead of lubricant are used in the gear case. ATS lubricant can reduce the friction into the least, prevent abrasion and corrosion, reduce noises and prolong gears’ life cycle. |
