Lubricating greases for electronic switches

　Lubricating greases for electronic switches have the same demands as other lubricants. They need to have strong films, appropriate scopes of temperature and adhesive property of setting position. The peculiar thing lies in that this kind of lubricant can avoid the happening of rub. The rubs can lead to two problems. When the switch contacts, it can block the current and increase the possibility of mV’s sudden decrease. When the switch separates, the rubs which conduct electric may cause OCR. No matter what happens, the performance of switch can be influenced.

　The temperature which electric arc causes can be high enough to resolve all polar molecule. Lubricating greases for electric arc contact use synthetic fluids which can burn all the things without remains as base oil. It can extinguish arc and prolong the contacts’ life. New non-burning lubricating technology provides a solution to the oxidation problem. As lubricant can easily be oxidized in the electric arc under low load/current, new technology uses non-burned perfluoropolyether base oil to solve problems. The lubricant is dissolved into the non-burned, environmental fluoropolymer solvent, which forms a layer of thin lubricant. This layer is the most appropriate for situations with low load and low current. Moreover, this layer of thin lubricant does not draw dust and rubs. Gears for switches of electric arc Gears for electric arc may not work for a long time using lubricating greases. They need to both protect and lubricate gears. They are required to resist oxidation, water and separation. Because of large current and high temperature in working environment can lead to the increase of temperature, so lubricating greases need to have a wide scope of temperatures.
